Where It All Began

Scents Of The Wild began in August 2025, after Ashley and Dakota welcomed their first child. As new parents, we started paying closer attention to the ingredients in everyday products, especially soaps, and noticed how many contained ingredients we felt were unnecessary. That curiosity quickly turned into a passion for creating our own products with simple, thoughtfully chosen ingredients.
 

From Soap to Something More

What started with handmade soaps slowly grew into chapsticks, bath salts, and Ashley’s passion for resin art. Today, every product is made with care and attention to detail, with our goal of creating unique products that we can be proud to share with our customers.
 

Meet Ashley & Dakota

Scents Of The Wild is a husband-and-wife business, and we each have our own role. Ashley creates all of our handmade products, including our soaps, chapsticks, bath salts, and resin art. Dakota handles the technical side of the business, including our website, online stores, orders, and day-to-day business operations.
 

Why Scents Of The Wild?

The name comes from two things close to our hearts: our love of exploring the outdoors and Ashley’s love for animals. We wanted to capture the scents and feeling of the wild and bring a little piece of that experience into the products we create.
